□ The number of 'Korean native cattle' and 'beef cattle' was 2,966 thousand. This figure fell by 93 thousand (or 3.0 percent) from the previous quarter, but rose by 26 thousand (or 0.9 percent) from the same quarter of the previous year. □ The number of dairy cattle amounted to 420 thousand. This figure remained the same as the previous quarter and grew by 16 thousand (or 4.0 percent) from the same quarter of the previous year. □ The number of pigs recorded 10,107 thousand. This figure went up by 191 thousand (or 1.9 percent) from the previous quarter and by 1,256 thousand (or 14.2 percent) from the same quarter of the previous year. □ The number of layers was 58,746 thousand. This figure decreased by 2,598 thousand (or 4.2 percent) from the previous quarter and 4,453 thousand (or 7.0 percent) from the same quarter of the previous year. □ The number of broilers was 71,938 thousand. This figure dropped by 4,192 thousand (or 5.5 percent) from the previous quarter, but rose by 2,551 thousand (or 3.7 percent) from the same quarter of the previous year. □ The number of ducks amounted to 11,207 thousand, which went up by 46 thousand (or 0.4 percent) from the previous quarter, but went down by 1,885 thousand (14.4 percent) from the same quarter of the previous year. ※ For more information, refer to the attached file.
