◇ In 2011, the livestock production costs showed an upward trend due to the rise in feed prices.
* The production costs of calves, Korean beef cattle, beef cattle, milk, hogs, eggs and broilers increased by 13.7 percent, 9.9 percent, 6.7 percent, 12.0 percent, 22.0 percent, 11.9 percent and 2.7 percent, respectively.
◇ The net income of Korean breeding cows, Korean beef cattle and beef cattle decreased from 2010 due to the drop in gross receipts caused by the decline in cow prices.
◇ The net income of dairy cows decreased from 2010 due to the greater ise in feed prices despite the rise in gross receipts.
◇ The net income of hogs increased from 2010 due to the greater rise in gross receipts despite the rise in feed prices.
