□ In October, the Index of Services rose by 1.2% month-on-month owing to the increase in ‘Accommodation and food service activities’ and ‘Information and communications’ despite the decrease in ‘Financial and insurance activities’ and ‘Wholesale and retail trade’. ○ In October, the Index of Services fell by 2.5% year-on-year owing to the drop in 'Transportation and storage' and ‘Accommodation and food service activities’ in spite of the rise in ‘Financial and insurance activities’ and ‘Water supply; sewage, waste management, materials recovery’. ※ For more information, refer to the attached file.
