□ As of the end of March 2011, the mean assets per household recorded 297,650 thousand won, which increased by 7.5 percent from the end of February 2010. The median assets per household marked 159,260 thousand won, which grew by 13.5 percent from the end of February 2010.
□ The average liabilities per household increased by 12.7 percent to 52,050 thousand won.
□ The net worth (Assets - Liabilities) per household increased by 6.5 percent to 245,600 thousand won. The median net worth increased by 11.1 percent to 130,260 thousand won.
□ As for the whole households, the ratio of total liabilities to total assets rose by 0.8%p to 17.5 percent. The ratio of holdings of debts to savings dropped by 4.4%p to 71.6 percent.
□ (By income quintile) The higher income, the more assets. The higher income, the higher percentage of households possessing liabilities and the more liabilities per household.
□ (By employment status) The mean assets of households whose heads were self-employed persons increased by 9.9 percent to 434,270 thousand won. The median assets of households whose heads were self-employed persons increased by 18.4 percent to 228,830 thousand won.
