□ As of the end of February 2010, the average assets per household recorded 272,680 thousand won. Real estate (including primary residences at 42.4 percent) accounted for 75.8 percent of the total assets per household. Financial assets accounted for 21.4 percent of the total assets per household.
□ The higher income, the higher share of savings. The savings for the fifth quintile occupied 16.6 percent, while those for the first quintile occupied 9.8 percent of the total assets. The higher income, the lower share of primary residences and land. The primary residences for the fifth and first quintile occupied 36.9 percent and 51.0 percent, respectively. The land for the fifth and first quintile occupied 11.6 percent and 23.5 percent, respectively.
□ The average liabilities per household recorded 42,630 thousand won. Financial liabilities and receipts from lease occupied 67.6 percent and 32.4 percent, respectively. Out of the total liabilities, secured loans and credit loans accounted for 54.6 percent and 10.6 percent, respectively.
□ The net worth (Assets - Liabilities) per household totaled 230,050 thousand won. The net worth for median households totaled 116,740 thousand won.
