1. Internal migration □ The number of internal migrants was 663 thousand persons in February 2015, which dropped by 12.5 percent (94 thousand persons) from February 2014. □ The intra-province and inter-province migrants occupied 62.8 percent and 37.2 percent of the total internal migrants in February 2015, respectively. □ The internal migration rate (the number of migrants per 100 population) marked 1.30 percent, which went down by 0.19%p year-on-year. 2. Internal Migration for Provinces □ Regarding the net migration for provinces, 4 provinces recorded a plus net migration.: Sejong (7,941 persons), Gyeonggi (4,235 persons), Jeju (1,086 persons) and so on. On the other hand, 13 provinces recorded a minus net migration.: Seoul (-4,136 persons), Daejeon (-2,499 persons), Gyeongbuk (-1,059 persons) and so on. □ Sejong, Jeju and Gyeonggi marked a plus net migration rate of 4.70 percent, 0.18 percent and 0.03 percent, respectively. On the other hand, Daejeon, Jeonnam and Gangwon marked a minus net migration rate of -0.16 percent, -0.05 percent and -0.05 percent, respectively. ※ For more information, refer to the attached file.
