- The number of international migrants was 1,226 thousand persons in 2011, which increased by 44 thousand persons (3.7%) from 2010.
- The international migrants in their twenties occupied 38.3 percent of the total international migrants. This share showed an increasing trend.
- China, the U.S.A and Vietnam occupied 66.8 percent of the total non-Korean incoming migrants.
