• As of the reference period, statistics organizations defined by Statistics Act and their staff responsible for statistics-related affairs, whether or not they produce KOSTAT-approved national statistics

Survey Unit and Target Population Size

• As of May 1, 2016, the number of statistical production agencies is 397 (303 governmental organizations; 94 designated organizations)
• The number of approved statistics is 952 (governmental organizations: 782, designated organizations: 170)

• Reference date: May 1, 2016 (For budget survey, Jan. 1 ~ Dec. 31, 2016)
• Data collection period: May 1 ~ May 22, 2016 (22 days)
