    • General Statistics: Introduction to Korea's statistical system, statistical quality assurance, international statistical cooperation, introduction to work of regional statistics offices
    • Survey planning and sample design
    • Economic statistics: industrial data, price data, national accounts
    • Social statistics: population census, demography, employment data, welfare data, agricultural data
    • Statistical analysis using SPSS
    • Statistical information systems, statistical geographical information
  • Presentation and Discussion
    • Presentation by Bureaus (Latest statistical trends and issues in Afghanistan)
    • Presentation and Discussions on Action plan (Advancement of Statistics in Afghanistan)
  • Field Trips
    • Statistical Exhibition Center, Dongnam Regional Statistics Office
    • Sangshin-ri Pottery Village(Hands-on Pottery), Pansori Center
    • Eco Center at South End of Nakdong River, Renault Samsung Automobile Assembly Plant, Nurimaru, Aquarium

  • Statistical civil servant with 3+ years of experience in statistical work
  • Proficient in English to effectively participate in training
  • Has not attended a KOICA training program OR attended similar program in the last 3 years
