Definition	Refers to the total working hours, under the legal provisions of working hours, between the starting and ending working hours, less the hours of short breaks in between, on a working day which is designated through an collective agreement or firm's employment regulations
Commentary	Excludes paid day off from working days and holidays prescribed in employment regulations.
