Definition	Defined as students and employees of 9-19 years of age(study on the Internet addiction). Defined as 9-24 years of age(Framework Act on Juveniles) Juvenile Welfare Support Act, Juvenile Activity Promotion Act, Framework Act on Heathy Families follow the definition in Framework Act on Juveniles. Younger than 19 (Act on the Protection of Children and Juveniles against Sexual Abuse) Civil Law protects the population under 19 by deeming them as incompetent persons while Criminal Law protects the population under 14 as criminal minors.
Commentary	Common term referring to young adults and boys and girls. Laws and regulations define the age of the group differently.
