Definition	The purpose of a statistical table is to display information obtained from statistics in a simplified and orderly way. Statistics tables allow easy observance, comparison and interpretation of statistical data. Before statistical interpretation has developed, displaying data in a statistical table was the only way and was considered to be the ultimate purpose of statistics.
Commentary	It displays statistical values of survey results which are systematically combined in rows and columns to serve a specific purpose.
