  ◦ The economically active population marked 29.037 million persons in December, which grew 363 thousand persons or 1.3% year-on-year.

  ◦ The labor force participation rate stood at 63.8% in December, up 0.5%p year-on-year.

[Employed persons and employment to population ratio]

  ◦ The number of employed persons totaled 28.093 million persons in December, which went up 285 thousand persons or 1.0% year-on-year.

  ◦ The employment to population ratio recorded 61.7% in December, up 0.4%p year-on-year.

[Unemployed persons and unemployment rate]

  ◦ The number of unemployed persons totaled 944 thousand people in December, which increased 78 thousand persons or 9.0% year-on-year.

  ◦ The unemployment rate marked 3.3% in December, down 0.3%p year-on-year.

[Economically inactive population]

  ◦ The economically inactive population totaled 16.468 million people in December, decreasing 190 thousand persons or 1.1% year-on-year.
