□ In August, the Index of Services went up by 0.2% month-on-month owing to the rise in 'Wholesale and retail trade' and 'Accommodation and food service activities' in spite of the drop in 'Information and communication'. ❍ In August, the Index of Services grew by 0.9% year-on-year owing to the increase in 'Transportation and storage' and 'Human health and social work activities’ despite the decrease in 'Wholesale and retail trade'. ※ For more information, refer to the attached file.
