Definition	Refers to the processing cost of the establishments which subcontract other manufacturing units to process their materials for them during the survey reference year
Commentary	Includes wages but the price of raw materials, which have been provided, is not included in the processing fee for subcontracting. It is included in raw material cost. Products include semi-finished products, parts or finished products.
