Definition	Government agencies or legal entities that bear responsibilities under the public law for the state. It also includes organizations funded and managed by the state and local governments for public purposes.
Commentary	Includes public corporations such as Korea Electric Power Corporation, Korea Railroad Corporation, Korea Expressway Corporation, Korea Airports Corporation, Korea Tourism Organization, Korea National Oil Corporation and Korea Gas Corporation, quasi-corporations such as National Health Insurance Service, Korea National Park Service, Korea KoROAD, Korea Employment Information Service and Korea Education and Research Information Service, other public organizations such as National University Hospitals, National Medical Center and National Cancer Center, regional public corporations, various levels of schools, or corporate bodies, organizations or institutions prescribed by the Presidential Decree.
