Definition	An industry that produces, manages, processes and distributes spatial information, builds a system or provides services by integrating and converging with other industries
Commentary	Refers to businesses prescribed in article 2 of Spatial Information Industry Promotion Act. Refers to an industry that fits into the value chain of Spatial Information Industry (generation→management, processing→distribution, servicing→commercializing spatial information→spatial information convergence product, utilization). Refers to an industry by GIS elements (data, hardware, software, analysis, support, human resource, service).
