Definition	The set of all production units engaged primarily in the same or similar kinds of productive activity
Commentary	The 6th Korean Standard Industrial Classification(KSIC) revised in 1991 is used for classifying industry from 1992 to 2000. The 8th Korean Standard Industrial Classification(KSIC) is used for classifying industry from 2000 to 2008. The 9th Korean Standard Industrial Classification(KSIC) revised in 2007 is used for classifying industry from 2008 to present. For the purpose of maintaining the time series, the correspondence table between new and old versions of classification is also provided since 2004.
