Definition	A systematic classification of economic activities of production entities in producing various products and services by applying a set of agreed principles and classification rules
Commentary	Statistics Korea adopts and promotes Korean Standard Industrial Classification(KSIC), which is based on the UN International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities and reflects the changes in industry structures and technology. The 9th revision of the Korean Standard Industrial Classification was drafted in 2007 based on the International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities revision 4. 0.
