Definition	Living quarters are divided into housing units and living quarters other than housing units. Housing units include detached houses, apartments, row houses, apartment units in private houses and houses within commercial buildings. Living quarters other than housing units include officetels, lodge rooms, dormitories/special social facilities, etc.
Commentary	The term broadly used for all locations where people live. 'Living quarters' refer to a structurally separate and independent residential unit.
