Definition	Buildings refer to factories, offices, private residences and other attached buildings. Buildings also include attached facilities such as elevators, cooler/heater equipment, lighting/ventilation equipment. Buildings exclude the construction of residences for sale by construction companies because it is merely the corporation's commodity production activity, not investment.
Commentary	A structure settled on land with a certain shape that includes a roof, posts, walls, windows, and floor. Buildings are used for residence, work or business operations.
