Survey Management Bureau
The Survey Management Bureau is made up of 4 divisions and 1 team. The Bureau plans & manages field work of surveys, improves survey environment, plans & conducts the Population and Housing Census, plans & conducts the Register-based Census, designs & manages the samples of surveys, carries out contract-based surveys, and establishes & implements out basic plans related to remote surveys.

Main Responsibility
- Supporting the operation of the Regional Offices of Statistics
- Establishing and implementing basic plans for surveys
- Establishing and implementing guidelines for surveys
- Establishing and implementing training plans for surveys
- Managing the quality of surveys and supporting the improvement in survey environment
- Coordinating the improvement in survey techniques
- Coordinating public relations to survey objects
- Coordinating the verification of surveys
- Establishing and implementing basic plans related to contract-based statistical production of national statistics
- Coordinating and cooperating for contract-based national statistics
- Receiving and managing the orders of contract-based national statistics
- Managing field works related to contract-based statistical production of national statistics
- Providing the results of contract-based national statistics
- Coordinating other works not managed by other divisions within the Bureau
