National Data Management Office
The National Data Management Office consists of 9 divisions. The Office coordinates government-wide statistics & data, supports link & cooperation among national, public and private sector data, plans, operates & supports the National Statistics Committee, plans & produces statistics by using big data, preserves, manages & provides microdata, coordinates matters related to the establishment and standardization of AI-friendly statistical metadata, promotes the provision and use of public data of the Ministry of Data and Statistics, coordinates the planning and implementation for promoting data-based administration, plans & coordinates the use of administrative data, coordinates the linkage and use of the statistical register, and plans & develops administrative data-based statistics.
Deputy Director General for National Data Hub Policy
The Deputy Director General for National Data Hub Policy is made up of 4 divisions. This Deputy Director General coordinates the planning, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives to promote the provision and use of public data of the Ministry of Data and Statistics, coordinates the planning, implementation, and data management for promoting data-based administration, plans & coordinates the use of administrative data, coordinates the linkage and use of the statistical register, and plans & develops administrative data-based statistics.
